In 2024, the production of the future animated short film "MisundersHood"/"MisundersHood" began in Ukraine. The film will be the directorial debut of the young animator Iryna Sosimovych from Kharkiv.
The animated film "MisundersHood" tells the story of underrepresented vulnerable groups and becomes the voice of "non-heroes". Oleksa's boy, having undiagnosed autism, produces a protective mechanism that fails him in the most terrible time - when war comes. He loses and at the same time finds everything, finally daring to trust. The project seeks to overcome stereotypes, to introduce the viewer to a different perspective of looking at the world.
Printed cartoon? This is exactly what will be shown in the gallery: the director will share all the materials from the development period of the cartoon, as well as secrets from the production stage. visiting this exhibition will benefit students and young filmmakers who do not know where to start, how to organize the process and where to get support for the realization of their ideas.
