"Arabesques" is a novella that is currently included in the collection "Blue Etudes" (...etudes that I will never, ever write again, according to Khvylovyi himself). A whimsical flow of associations, impressionism, the world of art, the hero's world, ornamentation, and landscape all flow and intertwine within it, creating a Cityscape.
Therefore, we invite you to join a symbolic conversation about life as it is. When discussing life, it’s impossible not to mention its antithesis—death. Thus, this is also a conversation about the other extreme of human existence.
